Michelli History

From a small family scale business in New Orleans to one of the largest weighing and measurement providers in the United States, Michelli's history is a story of service, reinvestment, technical growth, and customer focus.

A company built by people who learned the customer's business.

Michelli began as a Mom & Pop operation and grew through a strong desire to keep learning, reinvest in training and technology, and serve customers better. That mindset helped the company evolve from a hardworking man and his family into a leader in the weighing and measurement industry.

Our story is not just about locations, logos, or acquisitions. It is about a team that moved from selling and servicing scales to helping customers use weighing and measurement to improve quality, reduce waste, and better understand their operations. We made it our business to get to know yours.

Much has changed at Michelli since 1947, but our mission has not. We show the world what measurement can do by providing our customers with comprehensive service & high-quality equipment that offers each of them an easier, more efficient way to perform their job functions, through the use of weighing & measurement technology.
